Postage fees

Here at Quad-Skates.co.uk we believe in bringing you the best value for money. Our postage fees are the "real life" prices we are charged by Royal Mail and Scarlet Couriers. As an online, mail order company, we face two options (1) keep prices as low as possible and charge the real cost of postage or (2) increase product prices by a few £'s to cover the costs of postage and offer low price or free postage. We have chosen to offer you low product prices to save you money and be up front with our real costs.

Postage and Packaging for all items is available at the following rates. Please note Northern Ireland (BT), Isle of Man (IM), Scottish Highlands and Orkney Isles (PA, ML, EH, KA, G, KY, PH, DD, AB, IV, KW), Outer Hebrides and the Shetland Isles (HS, ZE) will incur additional charges (e-mail us for a quotation) and may also experience delivery delays. Local collection from Hanwell, London (W7) is now available - by appointment only.

All large parcels are sent with Scarlet Courier. Please note - there is no maximum order weight - the most you will be charged for any order is £12.99 carriage (for UK orders). Please note: We regularly monitor the performance of courier companies and value your feedback. If you have any experience with our chosen courier, or would like to recommend a company you have enjoyed using, get in touch and let us know.

Payment Methods

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Maestro (Switch), Visa Electron, and Visa Delta as forms of payment using Streamline IMA Processing. We also accept cheque or postal order. Cash should not be sent through the post unless using Royal Mail Special Delivery. We also accept Credit and Debit card payment over the phone by calling 0845 838 2515. Payment and credit card details are captured on SecureForm's secure web environment, using state of the art 128-bit encryption. Quad-Skates.co.uk uses SecureForm 128-bit Security Server and Paypal to ensure a safe and complete transaction.

Online Security

To ensure your details are process securely, always check for the "https" in the web address and the yellow padlock on the bottom right hand of your screen. If you are unsure about processing your card details, then contact a member of the Quad-Skates team who will talk you through the secure payment process.

Quad-Skates.co.uk will never ask personal details e.g. Date of Birth, Mothers Maiden Name or Pin Number. We do however check card details against Post Code, Address and other verification processes using the "Third Man Verfication" Process. This is a secure payment system.

Accepted payment methods are: Credit/Debit Card, Paypal, Postal Order, Cash or Cheque only.
